Let's Recap

The other day I was editing my huge Mission Decorate picture file in prep to upload all my information to my new computer. (Yes, I got a new computer! Hello little Dell. You are so pretty!) And I was totally amazed by some pics of the house before all the decor fun had began.  So I  thought it would be fun to do a little recap post of how far we have come. 
So where should we begin??  Well I thought today I would show you all the progress I have made in the bedrooms and save the rest of the house for another day.  So lets start in the Master Bedroom.  This is what it looked like when we first moved in...

And where are we today???

Wow, just a little bit different, huh?!?!?  I will tell you that this is the room that I am currently most proud of in the house and it also taught me a good lesson.  This room has taught me that it takes time to get it right.  When I first re-did it I was pretty happy with the outcome but over time I have added layers - colors, fabric, wall decor - and that has made it all come together.  I seem to want to take on a room all at once but it really is a process that I need to learn to be patient with. 

Another huge transformation is my craft room.  I have so many sad before pictures it was hard to choose just one but here is a pretty depressing one...

Wow, nothing like starting with a blank canvas!  Well, I think it looks a little better now.

Ahhh, I truly love this room!  Now, I will admit it is a bit messy right now.  But that is what a work room is for.  And the best part about my work room is that it has a door so I can just close it all behind me!   

My daughter's room also began bare and bland...

Eek.  But now it is bright and full of color!

And speaking of my daughter, I also came across some pictures of her.  How much she has grown is the biggest shock of all!!!  When we moved in...

And now...

Now that is truly my biggest accomplishment!
