Blooming Beautifully

My garden is full of the most amazing flowers!  Let me be clear that I take absolutely no credit for this.  The former owners had an amazing eye for all things blooming and we are simply lucky to benefit from it.  Wherever you are out there former owners Thank You!

On most occasions things I plant end up looking like this.

Yes, that is actually in my yard right now as we speak.  I just keep hoping it may spring back to life!  It was a Gerbera Daisy now it is more like a sad reminder of my black thumb.  But...I have had one success this season!  I bought a miniature tomato plant at the amazing Madison Capital Square Farmers Market.  (If you ever have the opportunity to go it is a must.  The best Farmers Market I have ever been to!)

I decided on this plant because the farmer assured me that I could leave it right in the pot and all I had to do was water it a lot.  Now that is something I can do seeing as how I tend to over water everything.  Although I was sceptical it turned out she was right!  Even I can grow tomatoes!

I feel like this picture needs big flashing lights around it.  You have no idea what an accomplishment this is for me!  Maybe I will let it go to my head and next year try and actually plant one in the ground.  (As my husband says...whoa slow down there is plenty of time left for you to kill it.)
